Sunday walk in the park
Day 58
Most of the day was spent relaxing at the Airbnb, watching the harbor activities below. There were a lot more people walking along the promenade, taking in the sunshine on their day off.
In the early afternoon we set out up a nearby hill at a park called Šuma Marjan. It is a bit of a climb to get to the top, the pathway has over 400 steps up to reach the top viewpoint. From the top, you get a great view of the surrounding area. It was nice to sit up there and take in the views for a while.
Eventually we made our way back down to sea level and spent time wandering the winding streets we had previously been, I wanted to get a few more people photos now that I had a better idea where everything was.
Saying of the day:
Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.
